The Backstory

In June of 2006, my husband and I were thrilled to welcome our little boy to the world. After the first few days of ooh-ing and aah-ing over our precious baby, we realized that the sink was full of dishes, the carpets needed vacuuming, and someone needed to do groceries. I tried out a baby carrier that someone had lent to us, but I hated it. It was that lovely shade of navy blue that screams "second hand baby gear!" and had so many buckles and straps that it took me ten minutes just to get it on. So, I whipped up a simple pouch sling and couldn't get over how convenient it was. Friends and strangers alike would tell me how nice it was and ask where they could get one too. I started making them as baby gifts and then started selling them too. I love knowing that something that I've made with my own hands is able to help other parents and children and to make their lives a little bit easier. I hope we can help you out, too.
